Chiba Weekend Digital Detox
July 4th-5th
I offer a few 2 day / 1 night digital detoxes retreats throughout the year. This is for busy people who want to get out into nature, meet new people, and enjoy life without phones.
It’s a guided experience in the Japanese countryside- a high impact shot of refreshment in a short time.
It’s especially recommended for those who are feeling burnt out, “always on,” or at a transition point.
I also run these on an ad-hoc basis, once we have a suitable group (4-5 people), we can schedule a date.
/ nature. community. yourself. \

Levi hosted a 2-day retreat that I was a part of. This retreat changed a lot of things for me.
Apart from being away from my phone and detoxing digitally, I had moments of deep realizations. I became more aware of my thoughts and emotions.
Levi helped me articulate things I couldn’t even express. I felt seen and heard in a very safe space. He was patient, kind, and very empathetic.
I would definitely recommend him to everyone who’s willing to tap in and connect with themselves.
It was a great experience for me and something that I’ll cherish forever. -

Dr. Andreas Dippon, VP of Engineering
The retreat felt like taking a break from the ever busy world.
My expectation was, that I will learn something about what it means to not having my phone for a few days. What impacted me much more though was to not have to plan or care about anything for a few days.
Just leaving your phone and wallet behind, follow the flow of the group and be unapollogetically yourself for a few days felt truly refreshing.
The activities, like rice planting and eye gazing, added a nice flair to the experience. A big part of making this retreat so enjoyable was the great vibe we had in our group of 5 men. We bounced jokes off of each other and conversations ranged from light and hilarious, to intellectual and complex, and to deeply connected and emotional.
My takeaway is to being more mindful of how and when to use my phone and other distractions as I did not miss it at all during these 3 days, making it much clearer to me how important undisturbed connection to other humans and nature is.
I would highly recommend to participate in this retreat if you want to recharge from your daily routine and digital office world. -

I didn’t have any specific expectations before joining the retreat, but it turned out to be an amazing and honestly, quite challenging experience in the best way.
The activities were thought-provoking, grounding, and humbling. It felt like a true reconnection with myself, and a much-needed break from the fast-paced lifestyle. I really appreciated being able to slow down, be present, and fully enjoy nature.
Everything: from the accommodation to the food to the overall experience, was wonderful. I genuinely loved every part of it.
I would absolutely love to join again in the future, and I strongly recommend Levi’s retreat to anyone who is looking to reconnect with themselves, spend time in nature, learn more about who they are, or simply share meaningful moments with great people.
Thank you so much, Levi, for organizing such an incredible experience. -

I joined the retreat at the end of a busy workweek, at a moment when my weekend plans were flexible and my mind was clearly overdue for a reset.
I hesitated because I had very little idea of what to expect. There was no fixed schedule and not even a rough sense of how the experience would feel. I knew it would be about disconnecting, and I had seen a few photos of people farming, but not much beyond that.
What finally pushed me off the fence was a single, almost absurd detail. The possibility that “there may be a wild boar this time” was enough to make me pack my bag and go.
What followed was raw, grounding, and surprisingly intimate.
I loved the camaraderie that formed naturally, and the way the activities connected us to basic elements: the fire of the BBQ, soil clinging to freshly harvested vegetables, the weight and reality of raw boar meat, and the sound of waves crashing at sunrise.
Being without screens did not feel like deprivation. It felt like removing a filter and experiencing the world without mediation.
Some moments stood out in particular: learning how traditional Japanese architecture prevents soil erosion, the long conversations around the fire, and yes, the boar. More than anything, the retreat turned out to be an unexpected and unforgettable adventure.
I would recommend it because experiences like this create space for people to slow down, reconnect, and often discover something important about themselves. Thank you, Levi. -

I feel more aware, grounded, and reflective after the experience.
It brought up some unexpected emotions, but also gave me clarity about my inner patterns and how I respond in certain situations.
My intention evolved through the process. What started as a desire to simply experience and learn became a deeper focus on understanding myself, building inner stability, and creating healthier boundaries.
In that sense, I feel I achieved something more meaningful than what I initially expected. -

“When I met Levi, I had been operating at a high level in my career, but somewhere along the way, I had lost connection with myself. Endless meetings, constant performance. I didn’t realize how exhausted I was until Levi invited me into something radical: a retreat with no agenda only presence.
No pitches. No posturing. Just people, soil, silence, firelight, and the slow unfolding of truth.
Levi has an unmatched gift for curating spaces where masks fall away and human connection becomes possible again. In the retreat he led in Chiba, I rediscovered parts of myself I’d buried creativity, stillness, even joy. I touched the earth with my bare feet and remembered who I was before burnout, before titles. And I watched others do the same.
What sets Levi apart isn’t just his wisdom or kindness it’s his integrity. He leads quietly, through example. He listens deeply. He builds safety not with words, but with consistency. And somehow, by the end of the weekend, a room full of strangers felt like family.
If you’re a high-achiever navigating stress, disconnection, or just a quiet yearning for more, Levi is someone you need to meet. Whether through a retreat, coaching, or a single conversation, he doesn’t just offer transformation. He offers remembrance.
Of who you are. Of what matters. Of how to feel alive again.
Levi is not just a coach. He’s a builder of humans.
I cannot recommend him enough.” -

Feretesh Samavi, Country Manager, Interaction Design Foundation
“I had the chance to join Levi’s very first Digital Detox Retreat, and it was an unforgettable experience.
At first, I wasn’t sure about spending three days outside the city with people I didn’t know, but Levi took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt safe and comfortable before the trip.
During the retreat, everything was so well organized that we could truly relax and focus on self-reflection, spiritual activities, farming, and barbecuing. He even took my fear of insects into account, which showed how much care and thought he put into every detail to make sure everyone had the best experience possible.
After three days away from screens and city life, I felt more confident and grounded. I discovered a lot about myself and came back feeling calmer and less stressed.
I really recommend this retreat to anyone living in a busy city like Tokyo who needs time to recharge and reconnect.” -

It was such a pleasure to attend Levi's Retreat.
During the retreat, Levi allowed me to unlock and reveal some things within myself I needed to work on.
The fireside chats we had were moments that were truly fulfilling for me. I was able to explore and dive deep into parts of myself that I tucked away for such a long time.
If you are an individual that is in need to reset and detox, attending Levi's Retreat will refresh your mind, body, spirit and soul.
I cannot express how much I recommend Levi's retreat.
Attending his retreat could potentially be life-changing for you as it was for me. So do yourself a favor and join Levi's retreat.
I promise that you won't regret it! 😁 -

Nanako Aramaki, Certified Sound Therapist | Wellness Coach | Ex Agency COO
“I recently joined a private coach's retreat run by Levi in the countryside of Chiba. The location was a dream, the activities were fun and the people were lovely. I learned a lot about myself and how far I've come in my healing journey through the various activities.
Levi is a kind, gentle soul, and his calm demeanour and empathetic approach to coaching helped us to open up relatively early on in the retreat. I felt guided by his soothing voice - perfect for guided group meditations.
He planned enough that there was some structure to the days, but he also left enough flexibility for organic spontaneity - while gently reminding us to notice the small things and reflect throughout the day. There is something special and unique about self discovery in a group setting, and I recommend experiencing one of his retreats if you are looking for personal growth in a safe and fun environment.” -

Aniketh Nair, Executive Recruiter
I decided to join Levi’s retreat as I just quit my job and thought it would be a good chance to take a break from the city.
I particularly enjoyed the boar and farming activities, you don’t often get to do this in the city.
Ayako-san and the community made me realize what’s beyond the city life and changed my perspective of the “Inaka”.
I’d recommend the retreat to anyone looking to take a break from the city life and recharge. -

Nina Gamell Ph.D. Coach and Lecturer, Temple University
My retreat experience with Levi felt like a big exhale.
I felt deeply held, comforted, and safe in his guidance and presence.
Life can get so busy that it’s hard to step away from the to-do lists and constant mind chatter, but during the retreat, Levi guided us into moments of deeper awareness.
I hadn’t realized how much I needed a space to simply be —and to be surrounded by a supportive, loving community.
I wholeheartedly recommend Levi’s retreat to anyone who is looking to reconnect, recharge, and meet like-minded souls. -

What am I taking away? There's so much!
1. Our lives are filled with digital clutter. Removing it like weeds is essential to return into being truly present.2. Fire is primal tool for people to connect.
3. Phones are the vampires of our time.
4. Humans are meant to coexist and create a collective, judgment is a filter that was added to create a decision.
5. Being silent and still, present, understanding, and attentive can transform lives. We talk and think too much on a default.
6. Time can flow beautifully like water, when we tune in to the rhythm of life rather than a fit schedule.
7. We overthink things way too much as society.
8. Levi is freaking awesome. No words can express it enough.

I strongly recommend this digital detox retreat for anybody who's getting tired of the Tokyo rat race.
I like my job and my family life is great, but I sometimes get an uneasy feeling that I'm spending too much time on my devices and I started not liking the habits I got into.Levi's detox is a great reset for anyone looking to get out of nature, polish their communication skills with other participants and explore new and refreshing ways to enjoy life.
I especially liked spending time in the countryside in Chiba and mingling with owners of local businesses and rice growers. Being able to take a glimpse into their life was great for broadening perspective.
I'm very happy to have attended the event and will be joining again in the future.
I highly recommend the sound bath and beach activities.
